I recently provided bartending service for a corporate event at the Valley Relics Museum. I had no idea what the venue would be like when I arrived, and I was very pleased when I saw it. A wave of nostalgia came over me when I saw all the old signs that were still around when I arrived in Los Angeles in the early nineties. The Valley Relics Museum is a fantastic venue for all kinds of events.
The event I was working at was a client appreciation dinner for a San Fernando Valley financial firm. Many of the guests were older and they remembered with fondness the memorabilia and enjoyed the vintage pinball machines. I sat up in my portable bar next in front of the large, “Sherman Room” sign. The Sherman Room was a favorite old style steakhouse and saloon on Sherman Way that is no longer in business. I remember the sign so vividly from the nineties and was so happy to see it again.
This particular event had 35 guests in attendance, and there was plenty of room left over. According to their website, they can provide seating and tables for groups of up to 180 guests. They can seat 300 guests without tables. They also have a sound system, flat screen tvs, a projector and screen available onsite for rent. There is plenty of free parking also.

An Exciting Event Venue in the Heart of the SFV
- Valley memorabilia creates a nostalgic atmosphere
- Can accommodate up to 300 guests
- Ample free parking
- Fantastic photo opportunities and backdrops
- Hire your own bartender and caterer

There are so many event venues available in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, but none are as unique as the Valley relics Museum. The museum itself is available to tour on Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 3pm. You can schedule a tour if you are planning an event, by visiting their website or calling them directly.
While many venues require that you hire their bartenders and caterers, the Valley Relic Museum allows you to hire your own. This allows you to seek vendors that best suit your needs and budget. For the event I did there, I created a drink menu and shopping list for the client that fit their budget. If you are planning an event at the museum and need a bartending service, please reach out to me today and let me help you.
